Q - How often does the technician service our account?
A - Your account will be serviced on a weekly basis. Fifty-two times a year the technician will water, prune, clean and trim your plants. We will also check for insect and disease and fertilize as needed. Your technician will replace the top dressing and check for replacements that are considered necessary.

Q - How can interior landscape contractors get out of the rut of using the same plants in their designs?
A - Educate them selves. They simply need to educate. Go out and see different varieties and products at trade shows. There are new innovated plants available to us. We just need to step out of our comfort zone.

Q - Is it better to lease or purchase the interior plants and containers for our offices?
A - Long term it is less expensive to purchase the plants and containers and a weekly guaranteed maintenance service program. However, if you plan to redesign your offices with in two years it may be better to lease.

Q - Is there a charge for you to come out and give me a design and bid for interior plants and containers?
A - No Charge.

Q - What wrong with my Ficus tree? It's loosing all of its leaves.
A - Ficus trees can be temperamental when moved and a new ficus takes 4-6 weeks to acclimate to its new location. During this time it will loose leaves because it has been brought into a lower light situation and can't sustain all of the leaves it has so it will drop the ones it can't support. Once it acclimates it will be fine.

Q - Can I plant it outside if I take it home?
A - Most of the plants we use are tropical and can't tolerate cold weather but can be planted outside during the warm months. Plant them in a shaded area making sure they get no direct sunlight and they will do great.

Q - Why are we receiving the bill already when we haven’t even started the month?
A - We like to give our customers more than 30 days to process our billing.

Q - Could the billing address be different than the physical address?
A - Yes, we are here to serve you.  Please tell us how the invoice needs to read and we can make the necessary adjustments.

Q - Why do we have Gnats?
A - Are people around you eating fruit at their desk or drinking soft drinks?  Throwing these items in the garbage will draw gnats.  Sometime they come in from the growers with gnats already infesting the soil.  In the moist humid climate of Houston the soil becomes a fertile breeding ground.  We will treat the gnats when necessary.

Q - These plants always look so nice, how can I make mine look like that?
A - I tell them to pick any day of the week, and write it down on the calendar.  Every week on that day look at your plants.  Put your finger down into the soil several inches and test the moisture of the soil. If the plant is wet, walk away from the plant until the next week. You also need to lightly dust the plant at least once a month to keep the leaves healthy and shinny.

Q - When do you start decorating in order to be ready for the season?
A - The designers start immediately after our prior season ends. This is usually towards the end of January. We begin refurbishing materials and designing new projects as soon as we return from Market.

Q - Are these plants real?
A - Yes, they are real and guaranteed!  If a plant dies under our care we replace it at our cost.

Q - Where do you purchase the holiday decorations?
A - A representative/designer of the company goes to market and will shop various import and designer showrooms. Most of the ornaments, trees and lights are manufactured in and shipped from China, Taiwan and India.
